Unfair

The latest thinking on taxing employer provided health care insurance has me steamed. Sen. Baucus is behind this one.

If you are a card carrying union worker, you would be exempt from taxes on your employer provided health insurance.

Outrageous. Pander, pander, pander.

Union workers, at least most of them, have wonderful health coverage. Bob and I pay $4,800 for our policy plus the $1,500 each deductible. Because we buy our coverage through an employer's plan, we would also face taxes on a portion considered a benefit.

Unfair. Un-American.
