The House approved an expansion of the Cash for Clunker program. The Senate is considering it this week.
However, one rule of the game has been changed. The new car does not have to be manufactured in the United States.
This wildly popular give away (and destroy assets and cost millions to administer) program has provided the local Hummer dealer with several sales.
Does this make a whole lot of sense if the target was partially to help clean our air.
