President Obama is for free enterprise. Quite a chat-up on Wall Street yesterday. Some phrases almost sounded like a capitalist.
Back during the Great Depression there was one action that likely prolonged our pain in the US.
Obama, buckling under the Unions, took that same debilitating step. He slapped a 35% tariff (tax) on imported tires. The action is aimed at China which has become a source of good quality and cheap treads.
Capitalist, free market -OR- tax competition.
