Another Chance

Bob and I met with a banker at PNC yesterday. He took about 25 minutes with us and answered our questions.

My biggest frustration was that no longer could we transfer from our passbook savings account into our checking account either on line or over the phone. Plus, paying our Visa card issued by and listed on line with PNC easily or schedule a payment in advance.

The passbook has been replaced with a money market account. This morning I transferred some of those funds and paid the Visa bill. I still can not schedule a payment ahead but maybe this will serve us just fine.

We were anxious about our business pre-printed deposit slips but the bank will route the transaction to the correct account.

Plus, Bob's pension is a direct deposit. We have a form coming to establish the correct routing number and account number but will not complete this important task in time for his next expected pension deposit. The banker said it will also be redirected to the correct account.

The controlling person within me will be checking online daily to assure funds are where they need to be, when they need to be.

'til later
