Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday which is the beginning of Lent. Many people give up something like chocolate. Others commit to regular scripture study or extra worship services.
Whether you give up or take up, it is time to tune up our spiritual lives and prepare for Easter. Tuning up for the reason for the season, the cross before the resurrection.
Whether you give up or take up, join me praying for our nation. I am convinced a valley lies ahead before the climb out. Our nation will be changed and I pray it will be stronger.
Consider the season and participate. The costs are few and the benefits great.
