It's time. By now all the necessary documents have arrived. Get out the forms and your copy of Publication 17 or load in the software. Don't forget to get current updates loaded as well.
It's tax season. It's in full swing. Get the process started.
Even if you are convinced you are going to owe, do the work. Don't wait until the middle of April and then discover you don't have the basis cost for the stock you sold last year or other crucial information. Get your returns done now. Just remember to mail them on or before April 15.
If you prefer to hire a professional, call now to get an appointment or drop of your packet of documents. I know the usual 1/2 hour appointments for Saturdays and evenings are filling quickly. Our office encourages drop offs.
