We receiving two regular invoices in postcard form. One is garbage removal which is issued quarterly. The other is our monthly water/sewage from a small municipality.
Because we receive roughly 80% of these postcards, I have given the disposal company our credit card. We had fallen behind over 6 months when I realized I hadn't seen a bill from them.
The water company has the power to cut us off if we get in arrears. We now pay them several months at a time and watch our credit dwindle close to zero when we send them several more month's. That bill is a flat amount.
I realize postage is saved by these companies but our mail delivery is not reliable.
