The New York governor wants to undo the power of the states. He has called for federal bailouts of all the states that are running on deficits. He's actually demanding it.
Maybe it's time to eliminate the states. Why stay divided in the age where we are all connected instantly and completely? Besides many of us feel our representatives we send to Washington care little for us constituents anyway.
Wait. There are states that are not running on deficits like the federal government already is. Yes, there are states that are currently in the black a little.
That's not fair. We need to spread the wealth and cover the rest of the country.
Wait. What are states like Indiana doing right? Is there wisdom in learning from them rather than raping them to pay for sins of others?
Why do we look for someone else to blame? The state of Illinois and the state of New York continue to spend what they do not have. Like so many individuals who keep Visa and Master Card in business, they borrow against tomorrow for everything.
