A Race Race?

I read and I observe. I am on the hunt, I am watching, I am patiently waiting. I want to find an African-American regular Joe or Jill who can articulate reasons Obama will get their vote in November.

I would love to hear or read a list of the senator's accomplishments as a legislator from a supporter. Or that he's a Democrat or he's a liberal or even that he's a Socialist and that's their reason for voting his way.

I hear that they are due. That it's about time we do this right. That he will bring change. Change. In my mind I hear the senator's words: "I do not look like any other president."

Change. Obama has picked as his running mate a Washington-insider. I speculate Biden will help balance Barack's total inexperience with foreign diplomacy and make his ticket appeal to white men.

So it's about race. This is a race race. I will continue to watch and observe. I will see who brings it back again and again to race.

'til later
