To raise capital there is one more thing the banks can, and some will, do. That is sell assets.
Yesterday the family across the street had a garage sale. They have 2 girls. One is in preschool and the other is in 2nd grade. They had toys, books, and clothes neatly displayed on tables in the garage spilling out onto the driveway.
Rachel said it was a good day. She has a couple bags for Goodwill and will see if the school wants any of the books. She didn't disclose how much $ she took in but she seemed quite pleased.
Will your bank have a sale to unload extra desks and coin counters? There may be some bargains. Maybe you should inquire the next time you're there taking out $.
