What did the panic cost? Thousands fled office buildings. Tourists were frightened. What did it cost the employers and the tourism of NYC?
On Tuesday, the breaking news was the hamburgers shared by the VP and President in Virginia. I read $7 for the burger plus $5 tip in the jar. What did the ride cost We The People? The limo and motorcade are always at the ready but the disruption on the roads at noon? What did it really cost for the photo ops?
While the country's unemployment levels reach that of 1983 and many are tightening their belts, why does Washington not ask the true cost? Why cause more damage?
