The new Supreme Court nominee has not done well when the Supreme Court has reviewed her rulings. They have overturned 5 of her decisions out of 6. That's not a good grade.
Secondly, she's not a Second Amendment upholder. In her ruling to allow government to ban privately owned weapons belonging to New York citizens, Sotomayor wrote: "The Second Amendment applies only to limitations the federal government seeks to impose on this right . . . not upon that of the state." Since her reading of the 2nd Amendment only forbids Congress from seizing your guns, the New York State Assembly was fully authorized to ban and seize ANY AND ALL of your weapons, according to Sotomayor's anti-liberty reasoning.
Maybe she doesn't really hate white men. Maybe she's not color sighted. But what about her track record? Shouldn't the highest court in the land consist of our brightest, best, and blindest?
