Mixed Messages

The White House put out a statement earlier this week saying that Americans are saving too much. We need to be spending more. Doing our part to help the economy.

Tim "Tax Cheat" Geithner, in Germany for some mysterious reason, proclaims that Americans are not saving enough. We are not putting aside $ for the future, for retirement and for college. It would help our economy if we all saved more.

Then there's the Charlie Rangle thing. He still hasn't straightened out things with the IRS. Remember, he's the head of that important group in Congress than writes the tax codes. Plus, he hasn't come clean about overlooked assets to the tune of a half million. Today was the day he would be stepping aside. Not!

Mixed messages all around. No common sense. No reasoning. No focus.

'til later
